It’s hard to put into words what the last fifteen years has meant to us.
From a start-up, to navigating a booming craft beer movement, building a family, and even facing a global pandemic, Payette went from humble beginnings to a Boise staple. A space where our community lands after the trail, the river, and the ride. We’ve shared so much joy, but also faced challenges along the way. Made a lot of beer, but also a few mistakes.
At the end of the day, the passion remains the same. Make damn good products for damn good people, and hopefully do some good along the way.

As a small, local Boise business, we’ve had to navigate an ever-changing world, and a market that’s just as changing. We made some tough decisions along the way to protect what we started, including taking our brewing elsewhere for a short time.
We’ve never wavered in our mission and our passion for Idaho, and we are proud and excited to say that our production is back in the heart of the state that inspired it all.

It all started with beer, but Payette has become so much more than that. It’s a call to adventure, a seat by the fire, and a celebration of the things we love most about the great state of Idaho.
Today, we take the first step on expanding a vision that you all helped make possible. Not because we're leaving beer behind, but because we're making room for everything that belongs with it.
That's why we'd like to reintroduce ourselves as Payette Provisions.
With our new name we finally bring together something that’s been brewing for some time. Payette isn’t just beer, it’s also our canned cocktails, the Payette Forward mission, our community, and the overarching love of nature.
Idaho’s Campfire.
Payette was one of Boise’s original breweries, starting in 2011. It’s been through several iterations during that time. Making the move to become more than just a brewery wasn’t something we simply decided. It was shaped by how you all used our space, enjoyed our beers, and made it into a lifestyle.
Not a brewery, but a gathering place. A public house. A metaphorical and literal campfire that everyone is welcome to share.
Our new identity allows us to fully bring these elements together under one cohesive brand, while still being the same Payette Brewing.

Rebranding the company isn’t something we took lightly. There had to be intention and respect, so we set out to find ways to pay homage to our past and make room for our future.
A new logo, colors, and brand elements crafted with care and attention to details both big and small. We evolved the iconic Payette Badge, and brought in natural motifs, hand-drawn illustrations, and visuals that feel like a nostalgic, summer-camp vibe.
